I’m Jamie Lou. I am a creative mother living in Los Angeles, trying to carve out a career in film, television, theatre, and the creative world. After many trials and errors, I decided to make Freckles and Dreams into a blog about the struggle and the joy of balancing motherhood and a creative profession. My goal is to empower women in creative industries while offering education and training on what I’ve learned along the way.
I will be including workshops on screenwriting, filmmaking, editing, and much more.
